Behind the Scenes - Case Studies
Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels
Beachcomber Resorts and Hotels is a pioneer in Mauritius hospitality industry and owns properties on the very best spots on the island. All 8 resorts are set on the most beautiful sandy beaches with unbelievable turquoise water. Their flagship is Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
We were hired to shoot 2 different Beachcomber Hotels. The first location was the newly renovated presidential villa.
Pullmann Reef Hotel & Casino Cairns
After a long flight from Europe, we finally landed in tropical Cairns; Australia’s gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Excited for four days of shooting Pullman Reef Hotel and Casino’s advertising campaign, we met the marketing team and discussed what we needed to get ready for the shoot.
We planned several lifestyle shots, some architecture images, as well as food and fantasy shots at the bar. As the hotel has its own zoo, we also had the option to incorporate animals, and since the state of Queensland allows visitors in the zoo to cuddle with a koala, we couldn’t avoid featuring this cute animal in our shots.
Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech
It was a great pleasure to photograph for the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech, one of the most iconic hotels in Africa, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, featuring a luxury golf resort nestled into a palm oasis, surrounded by the snowcapped Atlas Mountains.
he pre-production meeting was scheduled for the day before shooting would take place. While working closely with the hotel marketing team, we walked through the property in order to prepare a thorough shooting list, which is the key to smooth photography production. The shooting list includes plans and details for all of the components of production; including scene, location and time.
